People mostly use it when hiring people for a work. Drop-down is like a box that can contain 1 to many values in it, you can write many values in it. How to create a drop-down list in Microsoft Word 2016

The drop-down list is a great and helpful feature of Microsoft Word 2016, which helps you to fill the information quickly and makes the form understandable. The drop-down list feature is on the Developer tab of Microsoft Word 2016. If you cannot see the developer tab in ribbon then follow the following steps to make the developer tab appear.

step1. Go to the file backstage view of Microsoft Office 2016 and then click on Options.
Step2. From this window find the Customize ribbon section and then tick the developer box then check the ribbon.

Now follow the following steps to create a drop-down list in Microsoft Word 2016.

Step1. Go to the developer tab and then click on (Drop-down list content control) from the controls group. For more instruction have a glance at the following picture.

Step2. A box will appear on Microsoft word paper, then the click on the Design Mode, the option is in the same group (controls group). Look at the picture on the next step for more instruction.

step3. In the last step click on the properties and you just have to set the name and add some values, for example, teacher, student, engineer, or something else. After you add some values just click on OK, then place the box in its correct place.
